Diana Hopeson in an exclusive interview with Learning Matters/OFFINSO WATCH Editor on World Intellectual Property Day:
“No one anticipated that on 26th April, 2020 we will be in a situation where social distancing will become an obligation. But one advantage of Covid-19 is we turning back to healthy traditional practices like staying with family and staying at home.
On this special day as we commemorate the World Intellectual Property Day, I want to encourage creative people to focus more on the organic as against the inorganic, traditional as against modern in their innovation. The theme for this year, ‘Innovate for a green future’ suggests new beginnings of a new world system we are entering.
Our world today has embraced the virtual way of doing things due to innovation and technology. As we follow the Creator in enhancing His creativity, may we dress and keep what nature has freely bestowed on us. Happy World Intellectual Property Day,”
